Sculpture Garden at Brockport. 15’ x 13’, steel, mulch, wood, plants, 2020

Inspired by sculpture gardens like the grounds of the Memorial Art Gallery in my hometown of Rochester, as well as larger parks such as Storm King, the goal of this project was to create an outdoor space inside the space I had to work with. I wanted to capture the feeling of being outdoors, wandering through a property from sculpture to sculpture. I created five original pieces specifically for this installation (the five ground sculptures), and decided to include two other recent works (the bench and the mobile).
